The Cooperativa Bio Arábica, committed to the environment, and with the help of the coffee company DERKAFFEE of Switzerland, are sowing timber trees, such as the Mara, the Cedar and other varieties within their crops; in addition, of banana and citrus trees.
This activity is not only good for the environment, but also gives shade to coffee plantations, gives them more nutrients and natural fertilizers. And, eventually, in about 20 years, also the future generation will be able to harvest these valuable timber species, completing, in this way, a true virtuous circle.
